Meet Our Staff

Staff Missionary and Administration

When the Cooks first began working with children's homes in Nepal, the dream captured my heart.  I never would have believed at that time that I would actually get to go there and see with my own eyes what God has done, as well as the great need.  The need for the light and Gospel of Jesus to shine into that darkness and change hearts and lives by His saving love and grace.  Meeting the Believers there and worshipping with them was heart and life-changing for me.  Watching kids who have received sponsorship through Allow the Children grow into strong Believers who are now serving in their own churches shows how "Loving His children" really does "Build His church".

Allow the Children's commitment to serve alongside local Believers in all the countries God has provided is so important.  As is the pastor and leader training provided.  I've seen how the sponsorship program that meets real, actual needs for children in other countries also is being used by God in the hearts and lives of people here in America.

God has given me a desire to serve Him by doing the behind the scenes, helpful "stuff" that makes it possible for a ministry to work the way it should for the glory of God; so that the ministry of loving and caring for children through the sponsorship programs truly will result in God's church being built strong in Jesus' Name.

On one flight into Kathmandu we came in after sunset.  I will never forget the massive black mountains silhouetted against the dark starry sky, And scattered all over the mountains, here and there, were little pinpoints of light.  Cooking fires, I suppose, but to me, they will always represent the light of Jesus shining out from the lives of His children.
