Riya

The CTW program are children from the Chitwan district, a poor and rural area of Nepal. Most of the children are from among the Chepang tribe, a people who survive by farming, gathering and animal raising. Until recent years, few were educated and it is still unusual for the kids, especially girls, to complete their schooling through class 12. A few small churches have been planted, and the number of believers is growing, but there are still many isolated villages that have never heard the gospel.

The city offers more jobs, but there is no land to farm and poor children in the city are often in greater need than the village kids.
