In villages of Nepal, food is plentiful until it runs out-- and then children are often hungry until the next harvest. Farm labor might be the only job available, and the pay is very low. The city offers more jobs, but there is no land to farm and poor children in the city are often in greater need than the village kids. Children in our Nepal sponsorship programs are administered under a good mother church. The children come from a variety of situations, but all are under the discipleship of one of our partner churches or one of its daughter churches. At least one parent also attends the church faithfully and their pastor has requested our program for the child. In most cases, the child would not be able to attend school without a sponsor.

GISURU DEAF SCHOOL

One of our partner missionaries has followed the Lord's leading to go to a remote and underprivileged part of Burundi, Africa, to plant a church and share the gospel. In that area, he found many deaf children who have no access to language, the gospel, or the opportunity to attend school. To meet these needs, the Gisuru School for the Deaf was built. Allow is supporting this newly established Deaf School so these children can receive access to communication and education in sign language.
