When we broke ground for the new multi-purpose building at the Gihanga School for the Blind the children sang songs of praise to God that this day had finally come. This building, which includes a Chapel for worship services, had been planned 20 years ago but the war & lack of finances prevented it's contstruction. The foundation is now complete and we are trusting the Lord, our Provider, to enable continued progress.

The Gihanga School for the Blind has never had a Chapel, dining room or indoor kitchen, this new building will supply all that plus a food storage room and an office for the school director. The student body is steadily growing and this building will be a special blessing to the children & staff.

The foundation is now complete and we are praying that the Lord would be pleased to see this building up by the end of 2008!

There are two major needs:

1. Current cost to complete is $50,000US (every donation moves us closer)
2. Experienced men to form a construction team for October 2008 for a push to "raise" this building for God's glory. (contact Jim Brooks at brooksatc@aol.com)
