Where We Serve

Our mission is to be used by God as He answers the cry of the lost and helpless children of the world.
(Psalm 72:12-14)

Rev. Munir Kakish pastors two churches and is also the founder/director of the Home of New Life. He was born in Jordon in 1947.

When Pastor Kakish was 10 years old, his father passed away leaving the family to experience great financial hardships. He was then sent away to an orphanage in the town of Ramallah (10 miles north of Jerusalem) for the next 8 years.

Today, Rev. Kakish is directing an orphanage in the very same town! Since 1978, he and his wife, Sharon, have been ministering in the Holy land reaching the lost for Christ, discipling the faithful and helping the suffering children.

Ramallah Christian Outreach

The Home of New Life was established to provide a secure home for impoverished Palestinian children who suffer so much from the political and economic instability that surround them daily.

The children receive shelter, nutritious meals, formal education, medical/dental care as well as their spiritual needs.

The Ramallah Baptist Church shares the building with the children's home and provides godly discipleship for the children.

The current building is home to about twelve boys and staff, with many names always on the waiting list. There is a desperate need for a larger facility. The vision is to build an orphanage with two wings-housing 30 boys and 30 girls. The new facility would enable the believers to meet the needs of children and sow seeds in the community of faith, love and hope. The impact of Christ's love is endless! .....with God all things are possible... Mark 10:27

The Ramallah Christian Outreach Ministry also includes sponsorship for some children who are in need, under the ministry of the church.

Ramallah means "Heights of God". It is located just 10 miles north of Jerusalem near the main road between Jerusalem and Samaria ( Nablus). It is near the location where it is believed that Mary and Joseph discovered that Jesus was not with them after their trip to Jerusalem. Ramallah has a population of 40,000 and serves as the business center for 220,000 people in the surrounding villages. The current residents of Ramallah are all Arabs. It has historically been a Christian Arab town (founded in 1492) but with increased immigration due to financial hardships, the population is now half Christian and half Muslim. The Christian population is a mix of Baptist, Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Anglican and Lutheran.
