Our mission is to be used by God as He answers the cry of the lost and helpless children of the world.
(Psalm 72:12-14)
Medical camp for children -- About $500 will provide medicines for a one day clinic for needy children who otherwise would not have any access to medical care.
New roof -- The Light and Life Home needs a major roof repair. Rainy season is keeping the boys room wet and "patches" in the open areas are just not enough.
The whole job is estimated at $5000. If we can cover it, the landlord will not charge any more rent until the cost is covered.
Bangladesh Projects
Before School Tuition Program
We found a wonderful little project in Bangladesh. Four different churches are inviting children (church kids and others) to come in the mornings before school for help with their studies. Qualified teachers assist each child, teaching the educational material as well as a valuable witness---- building relationships which can bridge to the child's family as well.
These teachers are evangelists, spending two hours of each day with the students, then sharing the gospel with others and church planting work.
Because of the morning tuition program, many children have come to know the Lord Jesus and their parents also hear the gospel. We pray that from this beginning, churches will be established.
Funding for this program could provide some food for the children and duplicate the ministry in other churches. Any amount is a blessing for this project. About $50 /month is enough to cover one church program.
