New Life is a ministry for orphaned and abandoned children being reared as a family by a godly Nepali couple. Most of the children are from Hindu families, now learning of Jesus Christ from daily worship and devotions. The children attend a local church where their house father serves as an elder. As we help him to meet the needs of these children, we hope to see the fruit in godly Christian leaders as these children mature.
When we first found the New Life Home, the houseparents were caring for their large family literally in the middle of a vacant field. They had four tiny rooms which all opened to the outdoors on one side of the building-- as if they were individual motel rooms. Now, the house has been enclosed and doubled in size, though it is still small for so many children.
