Saruna's family is poor and homeless. They live in a tiny one room stick house, on the church property because they have no where else to go. Her father works as a day laborer, but even on days when he gets work, it is barely enough for food. A sponsor (pictured) provides school and basic needs for Saruna and food for the whole family who are faithful believers.

Children from this church program are chosen and supervised by their pastor. Family situations include widows, families which have taken in an orphan and homeless families living in makeshift shelter on the church property. Funds are carefully distributed from individual accounts when parents submit a receipt.

The church also includes families of fellow pastors in the area who serve people so profoundly poor that they are unable to support their pastor.

Usually one child from each family is received and needs met by the sponsor, enabling the family to use what resources it has for the other children.

One Hindu father began attending the church after his child's hospitalization was covered by Allow The Children. "Why did the Christians care about his family?" he wondered, and after a few months, he trusted the Lord as his own Savior.

The pastor reports that his children's program has doubled and his people have grown remarkably in faithfulness since the Allow The Children program began. The mothers of sponsored children in this church meet weekly to pray for the Allow The Children ministry and for their sponsors and to thank the God who is the Provider through them.
